Some of the best stories aren’t planned—they unfold in the moment. This children's book is a project born from bedtime storytelling with my two youngest sons, where we take turns building an adventure, one idea at a time. Their imaginations run wild, and while the stories don’t always make perfect sense, they are always epic.
One adventure stood out—the kind that needed to be captured. Inspired by our love for Minecraft, this book follows two brothers, Kaiden and Makai, as they embark on an unforgettable journey.

To bring our story to life visually, I used AI-generated imagery based on detailed descriptions, then refined and enhanced each scene in Photoshop. The goal was to create a vibrant, engaging children’s book that blends the blocky, familiar aesthetic of Minecraft with a polished, dynamic storytelling style. Each illustration captures movement, energy, and personality while staying true to the world we imagined together.
This project is more than just a book—it’s a way to preserve the magic of our nightly storytelling sessions, turning spontaneous, sometimes nonsensical adventures into something real. A keepsake for my boys, a creative challenge for me, and hopefully, the start of something even bigger.
